COACH SCOTT WILLARD, MILLER SCHOOL CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA

Scott Willard joined the Miller School of Albemarle in 2009 as Athletic Director and Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach. Prior to coming to MSA, Coach Willard spent six years in sports marketing before beginning his basketball coaching career. He was the Head Coach at both Lesley University and the Tilton Prep School and the Director of Basketball Operations at the University of Wyoming. 

Coach Willard was also selected to coach the Team USA under 18 Basketball Team on three occasions in 2007, 2008, and 2010. He was selected to serve as an assistant coach for USA Basketball on both the U-18 and U-19 teams. These teams consisted of elite high school junior and seniors. He helped guide the U-18 squad to a second place finish in the Douai Classic in Douai, France. The U-19 team placed fourth, of 15 international teams, in the Albert Schweitzer tournament in Manheim, Germany.
